The Road to the Super Bowl Goes through Ole Miss

This Sunday being Super Bowl XLVI, I am especially excited knowing that an Ole Miss alum will walk out a champion with the Vince Lombardi Trophy.  The New York Giants have an Ole Miss legend under center in Eli Manning.  On the other side, the New England Patriots have the tongue-tying named and hard-working BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who racked up serious yards as running back for the Rebs during the depressing Orgeron years.  When trying to decided who I will cheer for, I lean more towards the Giants because I am a serious Manning Family fan.  But if the Pats pull out a victory, it will great to see Green-Ellis’ extreme effort pay off.  Here’s to hoping for an exciting game…

Should be a perfect Super Bowl.

  1. Giants are in the Eagles’ division and are responsible for Vick’s outburst about not getting flagged like Brady or Brees (a little dramatic but he had a point). Bill Belichick is a cheater and Tom Brady gets a flag after getting poked. I’m not sure which team I hate more.
