Cold Splinters Campfire Shorts

Cold Splinters is a site that I’ve really enjoyed ever since finding it on ACL‘s blogroll a few years ago.  For those who might be unfamiliar with it, Cold Splinters is a great blog focusing on enjoying the outdoors and being in the wilderness.  Anyways, this is a menswear blog, so on to my point: This week, the site released some shorts that I’m really digging: their Campfire Shorts.  They’re a 65/35 Poly-Cotton blend, so they will be great for any adventures that lead someone outside this summer.  They are nice and slim, with an inseam hitting in that 6″ range that we all love.  And best of all, they are made right here in America in Portland, Oregon.  They are available in navy and khaki.  For sizing and price info, head over to Cold Splinters and check them out.

These shorts are looking pretty perfect… might have to grab that navy pair for myself!

  1. Terrible:

Cotton/poly blend, two-tone, metal snaps? And that’s aside from the general cut/aesthetic.

  2. Sir– Fair enough… They’re not for everyone. Although, keep in mind these are outdoors shorts. The cotton/poly blend type of technical fabric is good for that.
