Wants and Desires: Alden Peter Miller Suede Brick Sole Wingtip

During my daily treks across these here internets, I stumbled across this fine pair of shoes.  In a collaboration with Blackbird, these Alden suede shortwings are just killer.  The shoes were inspired by architecture and design book shop owner Peter Miller of Seattle.  The snuff suede with the red brick sole looks top notch.  The shoe is also constructed with a Goodyear welt on the Barrie last, so size down one half size.  Unfortunately, there are only a few smaller sizes left.  But for the folks out there that wear a size 9 or smaller with the Barrie last, you’re in luck…

Grab these while you still can, because they are perfect.

  1. Allen Edmonds has a similar selection with either closed or open lacing (Player’s Shoe vs. Quinton respectively). The color isn’t quite the same, but (a) there are more color to choose from, and (b) they are going to be available in most sizes!

  2. Outstanding. I have a pair of C&J for Polo snuff shortwings that are a major player in my rotation. These would get great wear casually as well as dressed up. Great find!
